Today was all about hanging out in the park and the van.

Kellie went and did a food shop at the crack of dawn, but that was just about the only useful thing she did all day. (Good thing too! There’s more than enough useful stuff going on as it is.)

Blake & Hannah got stuck into the water park first of all.  I got stuck into trying to fix the van fridge, without much success.  I made the mods I wanted to make, but its made no difference whatsoever to the temperature of the fridge.

This park has got a few special things in it that no other park will ever be able to lay claim to.  Firstly they had the FIRST jumping pillow in Australia.

But wait, that’s not all … they’ve also got the worlds largest jumping pillow too.  Yep … 2 jumping pillows.  You can see them both in the photo above to get an idea of scale.  The big one is behind the normal sized one, and she’s one big jumping pillow!

There’s also a couple of pools and spa’s to choose from, including this huge lagoon style one. We hung around the children’s pool with the slide though as it was a bit quieter.

A huge TV room, an outdoor cinema, mini golf course, large chess set, bocce, heaps of BBQ’s, huge playground, bike track, volleyball, tennis, etc. Fun for the whole family.

To cap off the day we had arranged to go to the Sam Powers, Xtreme Illusions show.  We’d never been to a close up magic show like that before.  To see some of these tricks performed close up, under our noses, was … well …magic!

Plenty of Sam Powers on youtube if you want to get a sample.  He did this trick for us, Metamorphosis.

Dinner was provided courtesy of McDonalds.
